sign up or log in.
- Booking & Appointment Information: Details regarding the services you select,
appointment date, time, preferred barber/stylist, and booking history.
- Location Information: With your permission, we collect your precise or approximate
location details to show nearby barbershops, salons, and available time slots in your area.
- Device and Usage Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device
identifiers, IP address, and crash reports to help monitor and maintain app stability.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data for the following purposes:
- To enable you to browse local barbershops, select services, and successfully book appointments.
- To send transactional push notifications and SMS/email updates (e.g., booking confirmations,
reminders, and status changes).
- To personalize your booking experience based on your favorite salons and styles.
- To identify, debug, and fix software errors and improve the overall performance of the App.
3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not rent, sell, or trade your personal data. Your information is shared only under the following
conditions:
- With Barbers and Salons: When you make a booking, your name, contact phone number,
and booking details are shared with the respective barber/salon owner so they can manage their queue
and fulfill your appointment.
- With Service Providers: We share necessary data with trusted cloud providers (like
Google Firebase for authentication, database hosting, and notifications) that support the core
operations of the App.
- For Legal Compliance: We may disclose data if required to do so by law or in
response to valid legal requests by public authorities.
4. Data Security
We use modern industry-standard security protocols to protect your personal information against
unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. All database communication is encrypted in transit and
at rest.
5. Account Deletion and Data Retention
Google Play requires that users have the ability to delete their accounts. If you wish to delete your
account and all associated personal data from BookMyCut:
- You can submit an online request using our Account Deletion Request Form.
- You can also email us at bookmycut.support@gmail.com with your registered phone
number or email address, and our support team will remove your account and purge all associated
records within 7 business days.
6. Third-Party Links & Services
The App contains integrations with third-party service providers (like Firebase Core, Firebase Auth, and
Firebase Cloud Messaging) to enable authentication, real-time database updates, and push notifications.
These services process data in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
7. Children's Privacy
BookMyCut is not designed for or intentionally directed towards children under the age of 13. We do not
knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 13.
